[Honghuang] The Demon Race Crown Prince's Tale

My next story is the Greek myth retelling The Beauty God Is a Little Brother. I hope you'll show it lots of support, my dears.

The war between the Wu and the demons ended in a hard-won victory for the Demon Court! However, when the Weakwater of the Ninth Heaven flowed into the mortal realm, the demons incurred a tremendous karmic debt. Thus, the demons gave up the lower nine heavens. The Dao Ancestor sent his attendant boy, Haotian, to rule the Ninth Heaven, making him the Jade Emperor. From then on, the Jade Emperor ruled the lower nine of the Thirty-Three Heavens, while the Demon Court continued to govern the tenth through the thirty-third heavens.

As dynasties rose and fell in the human realm, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors came and went. A thousand years before the Investiture of the Gods, Jade Emperor Haotian's younger sister, Fairy Yunhua, secretly married a mortal and bore two sons and a daughter. Enraged, the Jade Emperor sent people to capture her and sealed her beneath Peach Mountain. Yang Jiao and his father were killed, while Yang Jian and his sister escaped by a hair's breadth, only to be hunted by the Ninth Heaven.

That same year marked the thousandth birthday of the son of Demon Emperor Dijun and the Human Emperor Fuxi. This little prince of the demons was named Xuyang, meaning “ten suns.” They say Eastern Emperor Taiyi chose the name himself.

Born after the war between the Wu and the demons, Xuyang was a beloved little troublemaker who couldn't sit still. One day, while out playing, he happened upon the hunted siblings Yang Jian and his sister, and the three formed an unbreakable bond!
