After My Target Turned Evil, I Became a Layabout

Lan Xi was bound to a quick transmigration System and sent to complete missions in various small worlds on its behalf.

The targets in each mission world had all been through terrible hardships. Lan Xi cared for and comforted them, warming the future villains into sweet little softies.

Just when the missions seemed about to succeed, the System had to cause trouble.

--System: Ten years later.

Forced to jump ten years into the future, Lan Xi discovered that her sweet little softies had all turned into black sesame buns.

Lan Xi: Whatever. Let it be.

From then on:

When a mission target had an episode, Lan Xi stayed perfectly still in his arms.

When a mission target gave her a rose-gold bracelet, Lan Xi held out both hands.

When a mission target said she wasn't allowed to leave his side, Lan Xi replied, "Okay." She lounged like an elegant, lazy fish.jpg

In the end, the mission targets stopped having episodes, regained their sanity, and loved her as much as ever. Every small world achieved a perfect happy ending.

Lan Xi: Is the secret to every villain's recovery just a lazy fish who's willing to play along?

Theme: Saving each other, and finding love.
