Synopsis

But between the sorcerer and the young yokai, there's a lovely friendship between two boys.

This story takes place before Natsume is adopted by the Fujiwaras.

Tora is more of an oddball than anyone Natsume has ever met, and the boldest person he's ever known.

When they run into a curse:

"Why can you just go up and punch it? Aren't you scared?" Natsume asks.

"I am, but it's so ugly I can't help myself," Tora replies.

Okkotsu: "That's... really scary."

Natsume and Itadori: "Okkotsu-senpai, the cursed spirits you've killed really are kind of scary."

When they run into a yokai:

"Natsume, if you joined the track team, I'm sure you could lead the club to the national championships!" Tora gives him a thumbs-up as he runs alongside Natsume, even though he can't see the yokai at all.

"..." Natsume gasps for breath. "Well, thanks a lot."

*No couples! Natsume, Itadori, and Okkotsu are friends.

*All OOC is on me; the original characterizations belong to their source works. There will be lots of original settings, so please keep that in mind.

Crossover: Jujutsu Kaisen, Natsume's Book of Friends, SH Sweetheart, Detective Conan

There are crossovers with shoujo manga, but they only make up a small part of the story. Please don't read if that bothers you.

Finished Reading, Pretty Good: Anime and Manga Crossovers

Anime crossovers, though some might not be crossovers. Both BL and BG. Jinjiang is such garbage and won’t let me give five stars, so I can only mark them as five stars myself.

Stories I Think Are Good

I looked through my shelves and picked out my latest favorites. I'm afraid to revisit the white-moonlight favorites from way back, in case they don't live up to the nostalgia.
