A game of wits, two sides on trial, three witnesses, and danger on every side. One murder after another, each seemingly unrelated; one name after another suddenly disappears. The truths that appear to have no connection are the devil's lingering desires... Love you, and I can turn right and wrong upside down and risk everything. Stop loving you, and I can stand aside and watch you suffer eternal ruin. Even tenderness and kindness may not be enough when I meet my match.
Theme: Treat kindness with kindness, but evil need not be answered with evil.
