Blurb One:
Feisty, wild little civet cat vs. the top student, Crown Prince of Heaven
Back when they were still in Heaven, the little civet cat heard people singing the Crown Prince's praises, calling him a "once-in-a-generation genius." The flattery made her cringe. Later, the two of them fought, and she reached one conclusion: he was nothing special. Maybe she never saw him again after that. The little civet cat honestly couldn't remember.
Later, the little civet cat went down to the mortal realm, and the Crown Prince secretly followed her. Heaven knows what those two got up to down there. All anyone heard was that the Heavenly Emperor was nearly driven mad with anger.
Blurb Two:
Little Civet Cat: "I'm looking for someone!"
Spirit Granny: "Who?"
Little Civet Cat: "Someone in my memories."
Spirit Granny: "Then you'll have to ask yourself."
Little Civet Cat: "But I've already forgotten."
Spirit Granny: "You've fallen into the demon path, so of course you've forgotten a lot."
Little Civet Cat: "But I've forgotten everything. I can't even remember his name."
Spirit Granny: "Impossible. Demons only forget beautiful things. If there truly were someone completely wonderful in your memories, how could you have fallen into the demon path? Only those abandoned by everyone fall into the demon path!"
Little Civet Cat: "But... I think he really did exist."
The little civet cat takes out an object. This is the proof.
Spirit Granny leans in to sniff it, and finds that it smells of a mortal.
Theme: Break free of everything and live proudly and freely.
