After Daiyu gained an older half-sister on her father's side:

Matriarch Jia: “I fear no one will be there to raise Daiyu. It would be better for her to come to the capital, where I can take on the duty myself.”

Fuyu: “They say an older sister is like a mother. Are you pretending I, her older sister, don't exist, Old Madam Jia?”

Jia Baoyu: “I wonder if my younger sister has a courtesy name. May I give you one?”

Fuyu: “Get lost!”

Xue Baochai: “Sister Pin...”

Fuyu: “Someone, slap her. Teach her what it means to know her place.”
