Private Moonlight

Rising director Xin Yu won numerous awards with his debut film. Since then, his looks and wealth have drawn plenty of attention. Born into an illustrious family, he made his own way onto the rich list and has a presence in both the entertainment and business worlds.

Elegant, refined, and exceptionally talented, the man also happens to have a strikingly handsome face. He has always been untouchable, never letting the glamour of fame and fortune get to him.

Until one day, he made a rare public appearance, dropping in unexpectedly as a special guest on a hugely popular variety show.

At the press conference, he sat with his long legs crossed, two buttons undone at his shirt collar, revealing a reddish mark on his sharp Adam's apple. The image shot straight to the top of the trending lists and set off a storm of discussion.

Later, a video went viral. In it, the man lounged at ease, tenderness softening his usually cool gaze as he hummed an old Cantonese song and gently patted the person in his arms to sleep.

The woman had an elegant profile and slender fingers bearing a wedding ring to match his. She was none other than Xi Nuan, the renowned beauty and talent manager who had been a regular guest on that variety show.

Xi Nuan first met Xin Yu on a street in a torrential downpour. At the time, she was the assistant and secret lover of the popular actor Ji Yang. She had just seen the scumbag confess his feelings to another actress on a giant screen, and was then unlucky enough to be harassed by a drunken passerby.

A tall, broad-shouldered man broke through the rain and strode toward her. He effortlessly got her out of trouble, then gave her a scarf to keep warm.

The second time they met, in a dim room, the corners of the man's eyes lifted with lazy nonchalance as he leaned in, his voice almost bewitching.
