"The wind sighs over the Yi River, the water runs cold. The hero sets forth and never returns."
The name Yi Shuihan comes from the story of Jing Ke. Her grandfather, who fought in the Korean War, gave her the name to express his profound love for his country. But Yi Shuihan's real life had no stirring tales to tell, and nothing unfortunate happened to her before she turned thirty. She lived an ordinary life, following the expected path:
College, work, pressure to marry, blind dates, marriage, children...
She thought life would continue along its predetermined course, calm and uneventful. Then, in 2020, when she was thirty and on her way to work, a strange old man in a blue hat cast a spell on her while she was riding the subway, causing her to transmigrate!
