Lu Wen was all alone in the world.

Her parents died when she was young. She wasn't much of a reader, and studying wouldn't have left her time to earn money anyway. After dropping out in her third year of middle school, Lu Wen worked in a tableware factory, an auto repair shop, and a fast-food restaurant, barely scraping by.

She thought the luckiest thing to happen in her rather unlucky life was that the man she loved wanted to marry her.

But getting married took money. She stole a box of fake watches from her employer, only to be caught red-handed. When they opened the box, the few thousand yuan inside had somehow turned into tens of millions.

1. The male leads are trash. All three of them. This story's reputation as a trash-man trap is well deserved. The author loves writing scumbags and can come up with a hundred different kinds.

2. The heroine isn't clever or strong. Her only good quality is her kindness, which is obviously no use at all. Still, she's thick-skinned and can take a lot of abuse.

3. Some characters are pretty twisted, which may be unpleasant to read. Only read if that's your thing.

4. There are heartbreaking moments in the early, middle, and later stages, so choose your side carefully.

5. At its core, this is just a fun, indulgent story with no deeper meaning.
