I Raised the Yandere Male Side Character into a Model Young Man [Cultivation]

[Preorder: My Former Targets Have Come for Revenge (also known as Caught by a Former Target Before I Could Finish Transmigrating into a Book), a yandere xianxia novel. Opens September 1, 2022. The blurb is at the bottom. Preorders welcome!]

Ding Manwei, a tester for an anti-Mary Sue System, transmigrates into a Mary Sue cultivation novel and becomes the vicious supporting female character, adored by everyone at first and hated by all later on.

The only way to complete her anti-Mary Sue mission is to win over Bai Qingzhou, the Mary Sue heroine's yandere puppy-dog admirer.

Ding Manwei reads the yandere male supporting character's profile and trembles with fear. He slaughters cultivators and attacks sects, becoming a demonic cultivator who grows stronger by absorbing other people's spiritual energy. He even seduces and kills... the original Ding Manwei.

Ding Manwei: System, is it still possible to quit?

System: Once the arrow leaves the bow, there's no turning back, Wei-jie~

Left with no choice, Ding Manwei, who's never tried to win over a yandere before, sets out to tame one. She's determined to turn the obsessive, black-bellied Bai Qingzhou into a model young man.

Bai Qingzhou later: Manman, you've ruined my character.

Ding Manwei later: I have. So what?

Bai Qingzhou: Stay by my side for the rest of your life. Let me be the only one in your eyes and in your heart, and only be good to me. Then I'll forgive you.

Ding Manwei: ...Wait! How have I ruined your character at all?

Zhouzhou: I have no other wish in life. I only hope that one day I can go boating with Manman on a snowy lake.

Manman: Damn it, who goes boating when it's snowing? Let's go slip-sliding instead! Achoo!

[The male lead is reborn; the female lead transmigrates into a book]

[Bad ending]

[Blurb for Caught by a Former Target Before I Could Finish Transmigrating into a Book:]

Jiang Feiwu transmigrates into nine xianxia novels, playing a tragic supporting female character nine times.

The only way to complete her transmigration missions is for the male lead she loves to kill her with his own hands.

So the plot tortures her in body and heart. Time and again, she gives her life to pave the way for the male and female leads' happy romance. After dying miserably eight times, she finally sees the light of victory.

Who could have guessed that the ninth male lead would already have drawn his sword, only for someone else to transmigrate into his body a moment before the blade pierced her heart?

Without a word, he pulls her into his arms, his voice cruel and terrifying.

"Didn't I tell you never to leave me, Sister?"

!!!

Isn't that the line spoken by the yandere male lead in the first book she transmigrated into?

Feng Jue tells Jiang Feiwu that he grew up without parents, a wolf cub raised by a she-wolf.

Then one year, heavy snow sealed off the mountains. The eight-year-old tore open the mother wolf's belly, drank her blood and ate her flesh to survive until the snow melted, then stumbled down the mountain and collapsed at its foot, where the ice and snow were thawing.

Before he passed out, he saw a celestial maiden in the sky.

When he awoke, he followed her and became her alchemy apprentice.

In those years, she filled Feng Jue's eyes and his ears. Even in his dreams... it was always her.

Jiang Feiwu: You say I'm the only one in your eyes and heart, but I sold you for a few pills, and not just once. With a grudge like that, shouldn't you kill me a few times to get even?

Feng Jue gently tucks her loose hair behind her ear, as if he can see right through her. His smile is chilling. "Don't even think about it."

Theme: Cherish life and stay away from yanderes.
