Synopsis:

On the rooftop, Qu Miao, dressed in her school uniform, says with confidence, "My name has you in it."

Jiang Yaoqi is confused. "Why?"

"Because you're my muse."

Years later, the next time Jiang Yaoqi hears Qu Miao's name is in a conversation among her coworkers.

A coworker points at the woman on the screen and sighs to Jiang Yaoqi. "Someone like her is probably beyond our reach for our entire lives."

The woman on the screen has an electric guitar slung over her shoulder. The spotlight shines on her, making her a god beyond reach.

Jiang Yaoqi rubs the scar between her fingers and lowers her eyes. "Yeah."

Nobody knows that the lead singer of the now wildly popular band once, long ago, when they were students, shared a bed and a cup of water with her. They ran wild through the night and secretly held hands in forgotten corners.

The tattoo behind her ear that fans have speculated about online is a mark left by Jiang Yaoqi's bite.

Upcoming novel synopsis:

Jiang Li and Song Zhao's story goes back to Jiang Li's university days.

It was a rainy day. Under pressure from his father, her stepbrother was forced to pick Jiang Li up and take her home.

The car door opened. A woman in a little white dress, gentle and elegant, reached out and introduced herself. "A-Li, I'm your brother's girlfriend."

Her stepbrother said, "Call her Sister-in-law."

Beneath a bright yellow umbrella in the pouring rain, Jiang Li reached out and half-held Song Zhao's hand.

Their hands touched, then parted at once.

Later, when she heard that Song Zhao and her stepbrother had broken up, she laughed to herself at the thought that someone like her stepbrother could ever deserve such a wonderful sister-in-law.

Someone like her was, of course, the one who deserved her most.
