[Entertainment Industry] Battle of the Top Groups

As soon as news broke that Jian Xingcheng was about to appear on The Battle of the Boy Bands, the internet was abuzz. The show had invited the entertainment industry’s top idol singers, hoping to create a top-tier boy band for the domestic scene. Among the male singers, all of whom had both talent and popularity, Jian Xingcheng was undoubtedly the most unusual. He had the looks, but his skills had repeatedly come under fire. His fancams and encore videos had gone viral, becoming classic examples of an idol’s onstage disaster that no one could live down. Everyone was waiting to see the pretty boy stumble into the Demon King’s arena and get thoroughly face-slapped. But Jian Xingcheng had finally escaped the contract with his awful agency and was poised for a comeback. He completely tore up the pretty-boy script, revealing his true identity as an all-around Ace Demon King, and face-slapped his critics with nearly flawless, overwhelming skill. The internet was won over, but fans of Chi Mo, who had been a popular contender for the championship from the start, were unhappy about it, and the fans of both sides kept fighting. The two stars didn’t interact at all throughout the show, and everyone thought they were rivals who refused to meet. Until the cameras caught this scene: the aloof, arrogant top-tier star rapper carefully pinched the hem of the little Demon King’s shirt and gave it a pitiful tug. “Big brother, I’m number one in votes. You promised me. Will you sleep with me tonight?”

Two rappers, two Aces, two Demon Kings. A strong-strong, younger-couple pairing: aloof top-tier star rapper x gentle “pretty boy” Demon King.

Also known as: After Debuting, I Got Together with My Rival, and Onstage, the Kings Never Meet; in the Bedroom, One King Holds the Other.

A dream fulfilled with you by my side is brilliant enough to shine.
