This novel has been abandoned. Although I really like the couples in the individual worlds, the more I wrote these characters, the more uncomfortable I felt. I even started doubting myself as I wrote, wondering why I had designed the characters this way. The heroine is always in the weaker position. She may seem to have the hero wrapped around her finger, but she's actually the one who keeps making concessions. Even I started finding this kind of plot hard to stomach. My writing isn't good enough yet and still needs work. To protect my reputation as an author, and to remind myself, I'm not locking away this "dark history."
