As a mythical beast that brings wealth, Chi Mu was forced to take on a side job: handling requests from all kinds of monsters and wandering spirits.
At first, he refused. Then, while he was putting human skin on a hopping skeleton, he saw the feverish Hu Zili transform with a poof into a white fox.
Nine tails, all fluffy. Even in Chi Mu's arms, he kept whining in discomfort.
The superstar Hu Zili transformed right before his eyes. Chi Mu was extremely shocked to learn he wasn't human, and immediately showed an interest in courting him.
Chi Mu: I get to control all my income, spend freely, and call all the shots.
Hu Zili: Long live being single.
Chi Mu: ???
Accidents have been happening all too often in C City. Monsters lead wandering spirits through the city's streets and alleys, like a ghostly procession.
Chi Mu rushes to the scene with a spirit-locking chain, only to stumble upon Hu Zili getting proposed to.
Chi Mu: Who dares to steal my man right under my nose?!
*
In the fierce autumn wind, Chi Mu stands beside Hu Zili before a crowd of reporters and their flashing cameras, answering questions.
Reporter: Mr. Chi, what is your partner like?
Chi Mu: He's not human.
Reporter: ...?
Chi Mu: I mean, the one I like isn't human.
Reporter: ...??
* Top, modern alternate universe, episodic story.
* Before their identities are exposed, neither the top nor the bottom knows the other isn't human. They both keep up a disguise.
* A narcissistic, handsome top who believes that loving yourself is the key to winning x a calm, beautiful bottom who doesn't like making trouble
My new novel, "To Change the Ending, I Became a Husband-Protecting Fiend", is now open for readers.
Chi Yu transmigrated into a book, becoming a violent madman in a horror story about escape.
The novel's premise is that characters written by authors come back to life in their own world, where they must kill their authors in order to survive.
A murderous villain from a cultivation novel comes back to kill the author who wrote a bad ending;
A villainous boss from a post-apocalyptic survival novel, who does nothing but rob and pillage, comes back to kill the author who stopped updating;
The second female lead of a romance novel, who became empress, comes back to poison the author who left the story unfinished with crane's crown poison...
As a good citizen from the 21st century who transmigrated into a book, Chi Yu naturally chooses to find the author who wrote his character and ask them to change his settings and ending.
But this author actually wants him to save the world!
So Chi Yu's daily routine becomes: earn money by day to protect the audience (author), then clink glasses with the top at night. If any characters come looking for trouble, he launches a campaign to defend himself, all in the hope of getting his ending rewritten.
-
After Sitou willingly transmigrates into this book and becomes an author who's about to be killed off, he realizes that something is off about Chi Yu.
He doesn't kill him. He even protects him.
So Sitou decides that taming this violent madman and sending those vicious characters back into the book to save the world is essential. First, he needs to keep Chi Yu, his useful pawn, firmly by his side.
...Then he'll make the relationship a done deal and turn him into one of his own.
Sitou: If you want to change your fate, do as I say.
Chi Yu: ...Fine, but why do you have to torment those characters first?
*
Sitou: The more unseen something is, the more these characters fear it. For example...
Chi Yu: An empty wallet, a love life that never gets off the ground, and a hairline that's getting farther and farther from your forehead.
Sitou: No, the author's inspiration for all the ways to kill off characters.
Chi Yu: ...You're something else. That's ruthless.
* Both transmigrate into the book, happy ending, one-on-one pairing
* A beautiful powerhouse top who knows the script x a steady, composed bottom who knows the original plot inside out
* The top is a little crazy, but so beautiful!!
Theme: Promote righteousness
Why is Hu Lilie so resentful towards Chi Mu? He looks like an enemy. Isn't that too much?
My wife doesn't want to write the main attack anymore.
! Wow, I haven't looked at the comment section until I realized there are so few reviews for this book. () It's obviously very good.
What about extras? So, was that song unintentional or intentional?
Woohoo, so beautiful, I'm done chasing! ! !
"Chi Mu" is a big thorn in the side of the author~
This is the jade book
Hahahahaha I was thinking about what to do if I caught the wrong one
Suddenly I want to eat preserved egg and lean meat porridge...
"The corpse that belongs to him goes deep under the peach blossom tree" and "The little fox with mysophobia" have seen the author use such "belonging, possessing" words more than once. I really find it awkward every time I see it. I hope the author can correct this grammatical problem. Come on.
"His business has not had any ups and downs" is a big bug for the author~
