High school was full of things worth remembering besides homework. For example:
One particularly hot morning, after I got back to class from the cafeteria, I sighed, “That little breeze down below feels so cool!”
Qing looked at me in horror. “The little dog blowing down there feels cool?”
Me: “Are you sure you heard what I said?”
Qing: “That's so perverted, making a dog blow you. Pervert.”
I stared at her with a dark look. “I said the breeze down below feels cool, not a dog.”
Qing: “You clearly said dog.”
I sighed, then said, “I don't even have a dog at home.”
Qing: “Oh.”
Me: “But you'll have one if you go over there.”
Qing: “What, I'm a dog?”
I nodded, very pleased. Qing's brain had finally worked for once.
