After Being Saved by the Demon Lord

Xue Wushuang, a Sword God who walks the path of the sword and is pure and cold, suffers a cultivation deviation, goes blind, and ends up in an unknown village, where he is rescued by a schoolteacher. The little village is peaceful and laid-back, and the schoolteacher is chivalrous and understanding. Xue Wushuang loves listening to him teach, and the schoolteacher loves watching him practice his swordsmanship. The two compose poetry, drink beneath the moon, and cherish one another as kindred spirits. Until the leader of the righteous sects storms the village with the Seven Great Clans to rescue the Sword God. Only then does Xue Wushuang learn that the village is no village at all, but a Demon Palace, and that the schoolteacher is no teacher, but the great demon lord Shan Wuqing. The Seven Great Clans join forces to eradicate the demons, slaughtering everyone in the Demon Palace. The great demon lord Shan Wuqing is gravely wounded and falls from a cliff, his fate unknown.
