After My Boyfriend Turned Into a Zombie, I Eloped With Him

* The cover features the female lead. See Weibo for the full image. * Take a look at the upcoming novel in my "Look at the Kids" column. That summer, a zombie virus broke out around the world. After three months without water, electricity, or food, Ji Xun and her boyfriend, Xie Mushuang, risked their lives to reach a safe zone. But they ran into a horde of zombies along the way. Xie Mushuang turned back to hold them off alone. After being infected, he collapsed outside the gates, and then disappeared without a trace. To find him, Ji Xun joined a search party and risked her life on every mission. Then, during a supply run, she watched helplessly as Xie Mushuang, covered in blood and dressed in rags, opened his mouth wide and lunged at her, mindlessly trying to tear her apart. After a struggle, Ji Xun tied up the boyfriend she had missed day and night and left the safe zone with him. They temporarily settled in a house in the suburbs, with neither zombies nor people around. Ji Xun: Do you remember me? Xie Mushuang: Argh, argh! Ji Xun: I love you. Xie Mushuang: Argh, argh! Ji Xun, angry: I don't want to talk to you. I'm leaving. Xie Mushuang put away his fangs and blankly made a crying face. "Don't..." The only scarlet thing in my heart still holds a little warmth because of you. Highlights*** 1. No special powers, no cheat abilities, just surviving the apocalypse. 2. A gorgeous, badass, and strong female lead, and a male lead who was once gentle and sunny but later becomes an adorably blank-minded zombie? Theme: Never give up hope.
