Cerebrus once had wings as white as an angel's. Cerebrus was once free to fly. But people envied him, envied how he could soar through the sky despite having been born in the mud.
"Angels aren't the only ones with wings! Demons can fly, too!"
People shrieked and howled, clutching his golden hair as fiercely as sinners rushing toward a spider's web.
Cerebrus parted his lips and reached out to the people standing on the shore. They leaned over the cliff's edge, stretching as far as they could to grab him.
But others on the shore wanted to push them down, too. They had no choice but to turn and fight back.
And so, as fingertips slipped past fingertips, Cerebrus sank into the mud.
People got what they wanted: they tore the angel's wings away.
Pairing: Most likely Nightwing. After all, Nightwing's ass is the soul of DC.
The current Terra world and Rhodes Island settings are secret identities created by Cerebrus. Thus, with the exception of the hostile Reunion forces, all factions belong to Rhodes Island. For example: Rhodes Island's Guard Bureau.
