On the day Magic Cube TV’s rising food-streaming creator Li Cong reaches one million followers, he sets off alone for S City with his beloved cat, Marshmallow, hoping to find better opportunities.
Living in a first-tier city is expensive, so to split the rent, Li Cong takes a friend’s advice and decides to share an apartment.
But he never imagined that when he arrived at the address and rang the doorbell, the person who opened the door would be Shi Jing: a former pro player, world champion, and now the top creator in Magic Cube Video’s gaming category.

Clutching the printout, Li Cong was speechless. What he thought was, This guy isn’t the top creator in the gaming category. He’s the top pain in the neck!
Shi Jing thinks the worst decision he made this year was giving in to temptation and agreeing to share an apartment with a little food streamer who was supposedly beautiful, sweet-voiced, and an amazing cook, with the nickname “Pig-Raising Expert.”
From then on, he had to endure sporadic late-night food ambushes, accept enthusiastic invitations to taste-test dishes, and eventually embark on a one-way road to sleeping and waking early for the sake of three meals a day. Six months later, he stood on a long-dusty scale with a dog in his arms and stared at the number on the digital display... in silence.
This little streamer has something special about him.
