At first, Qi Chengxiu looked down on a woman so calculating. Later, he realized she wasn't entirely like that.

As the six-month deadline drew near, Qi Chengxiu found himself reluctant to let her go. Just as he was about to discuss it with her, one day he overheard Jiang Lingwei say to someone:

"What's there to be reluctant about? The heir seems all noble and refined, but living with someone like him would be so dull. Why should I hang myself from one crooked tree?"

The "crooked tree" fell silent for a moment. He decided he wasn't getting divorced after all.
