Complete and ready to read!
Mu Yan first met Mu Ran at the New Year's Eve banquet.
At the time, he was the crown prince of Great Wei, a heaven-blessed prodigy.
Mu Ran was a princess of Great Wei, one in name only.
Mu Yan rescued her from the brutal abuse of people of the lowest social rank, but all he got in return was a cold "Thank you."
Raised from childhood as the center of everyone's attention, he had never met anyone so indifferent.
So he became somewhat interested in Mu Ran.
That little bit of interest was the beginning of his downfall.
As Mu Yan grew older, he realized that he had gained everything under heaven and earned everyone's reverence, yet still could not win that person's heart.
He wanted her so desperately that he went mad.
*
The late emperor passed away, and a new emperor ascended the throne.
On the day His Majesty ascended the Danfeng Tower and proclaimed a new era, an imperial edict was delivered to Mu Ran's palace.
The new emperor granted her the title of Grand Princess.
From then on, she became the only Grand Princess in the imperial city, showered with every honor and favor.
But she was also trapped in the city forever, never to leave again.
The world envied the new emperor for honoring, respecting, and cherishing her.
Yet no one knew what her imperial younger brother was truly like.
Beneath his mask of benevolence and generosity lay a twisted, dark heart.
*
No one knew why the Grand Princess's chambers were never lit, nor why she never allowed anyone to attend her inside.
Only Mu Ran knew.
Only when the lights were out and everyone was gone could the new ruler of Great Wei enter her chambers night after night as if no one were there to stop him.
"My imperial sister is peerlessly beautiful, yet her eyes hold no one. That's just how I like it."
Mu Yan liked to gaze into her eyes in bed as he said this in a gentle voice.
"So you'd better make sure you never have anyone in your eyes, for all eternity."
Otherwise, if you look at someone, I'll kill them.
Until I am the only one in your eyes.
A possessive, unstable male lead X a beautiful, icy female lead.
The male lead is extremely obsessive at first, but later changes for the female lead, becoming restrained and patient.
The female lead has been emotionally detached since childhood and cannot experience feelings the way ordinary people do.
One couple, happy ending. The female supporting characters are only there for show; there will be no harem.
P.S. The male and female leads are not blood-related.

"Before Spring Ends"
On the day she was crowned empress, Qin Huaijin told Meng Shuangwan, "You are the only wife I have. I can trust you with the entire harem."
Because of those words, Meng Shuangwan faithfully managed his harem and raised his princes and princesses for ten years.
As empress, she had always followed the rules. Qin Huaijin respected and honored her, and always acted as if he loved her in front of others.
Meng Shuangwan thought they would be husband and wife for life, sharing a bed in life and a grave in death.
But at the next selection of consorts, a new Cairen entered the harem, and Meng Shuangwan learned that even His Majesty, so aloof and noble, could be passionate as fire.
He personally helped Cairen Min get dressed and slept beside her.
He remembered what she liked to eat and indulged all her little whims.
In just six months, he had broken every rule for her.
Because of Cairen Min, Meng Shuangwan was blamed by Qin Huaijin for the first time.
Doubted for the first time.
And for the first time, she, the empress, was forced to bow her head to a concubine.
Meng Shuangwan kept deceiving herself, holding on to Qin Huaijin's words that she was his only wife.
It was not until the autumn hunt that she heard the newly promoted Zhaoyi call Qin Huaijin "husband" in a soft voice, and realized how ridiculous she was.
The title she had treasured so dearly was nothing more than a trinket in Qin Huaijin's eyes, something to make a beauty smile.
At last, she gave up hope.
.
On the night of the winter solstice, His Majesty stayed in Consort Min's palace.
When he heard that the Chang'an Palace had gone up in flames and the empress had not been rescued, the usually composed emperor went mad.
His face twisted with madness, his eyes bloodshot as he screamed Meng Shuangwan's name outside Chang'an Palace.
The only answer was the palace swallowed by raging flames and the bitter, howling winter wind.
.
At the New Year's Eve banquet, the imperial relatives entered the palace with their families.
On the main avenue, Qin Huaijin encountered a noblewoman from outside the palace. Beneath the hazy palace lanterns, she turned around, and her radiant, delicate face made the eunuch drop his lantern in shock.
Qin Huaijin's pupils contracted sharply.
"My empress..." His voice trembled slightly.
But the woman calmly curtsied and greeted him. "I wish Your Majesty good health. I am the wife of Prince Wei, and have accompanied His Highness to the palace for the banquet."
Seeing the stranger's eyes, Qin Huaijin stumbled back in disbelief.
His empress had become a princess consort, and no longer recognized him.
.
Qin Huaiye had thought he would never fall in love in his life.
Until that early spring, when he met a woman in his fiefdom. She looked very much like his imperial sister-in-law, but her temperament was entirely different.
Later, he told himself that it was fine if she looked alike. His sister-in-law was dead; it was just a coincidence.
So he submitted a petition to take her as his princess consort.
Later still, the woman remembered her own name.
When he heard the name "Meng Shuangwan," Qin Huaiye felt as if he had been struck by lightning.
That night, he sat alone in the bitterly cold wind until dawn.
In the end, he made his decision.
The next morning, he opened the door and entered her room.
"Your name is the same as the late empress's. From now on, don't mention it lightly to anyone else." He drew the clear-eyed woman into his arms. His voice was tender, but a faint red glimmer appeared in his eyes.
The late empress was gone. From now on, there would only be his Princess Consort of Wei.
No one... would ever take her away.
Reader's guide:
A melodramatic, angst-filled novel with an elaborate revenge arc. The female lead is a virgin; the male lead is not.
The female lead has lost her memory, the second male lead gets the girl, and the male lead is reduced to ashes.
The second male lead starts out elegant and noble, but goes mad with love later on. He's a master of keeping a straight face while lying.
There are lots of intense love-triangle scenes later on. If you can't handle that, proceed with caution!
Theme: Even when everything seems hopeless, keep trying and never give up hope.
Lin Qing is a good girl. To be honest, Qing Qing is the worst female protagonist I have ever seen in a yandere novel. The others basically kill the male protagonist in a counter-attack, but there is really no way in ancient times... I originally hoped that she could counter-kill Shi Zong, but unfortunately her soul passed away. There is also a little girl named Alan who is so cute. I hope she can become good friends with Qing Qing in the next life and live a happy life together.
If he doesn't want to let her go even though he knows she will die, I can only say that what he loves most is himself.
Hey Yigu, I really like this couple. It would be great if there was a book dedicated to them.
Compared to the male protagonist, I can't accept Sejong's madness. I wonder why he doesn't want to die soon! ! Mu Yan is better
To be honest, this kind of male protagonist does not deserve the love of the female protagonist
Finished spreading flowers ~ I like articles without children haha
He is just a selfish person, the people he loves are never as important as himself
If Sejong doesn't destroy all of them, there may be room for change.

Oh my God, it was so quietly twisted.
I'm going to say it's a werewolf.
