[The House of Oddities] Tales of a Fleeting Life

What if the world of Yashe had a consciousness of its own? This is a story about a world consciousness calling out for help, and about a player and his two pieces. The net of heaven is vast, and though nothing may escape it, the fact that the Daoist in Blue and Zhao Gao could return to the past and change the future means there are some rather large holes in that net. This is fanfiction for Yashe. I started writing it because I thought there were problems with Xuanses' Yashe Zero, especially the part about waiting for the rabbit by the tree. Of course, after the release of the sixth and final volume of Yashe, I found even more reason to think there were serious problems with the book. The inspiration came from Tangyuan's speculation about the future in Yashe: Little Biographies of Antiques, based on the Heavenly Ruins he had seen. He thought that he may not have seen anyone from a more distant future there because the real world was likely headed for destruction. The story is now complete. The main story has a bad ending (not a happy ending for everyone). The one-chapter extra is complete. The alternate happy-ending route requires the characters to manually clear the main storyline of their lives. Heroine: Xun Zhen (I didn't want to come up with another character or think through another set of relationships.) Hero: Boss Zheng, but he is neither King Zheng of Qin nor Emperor Zheng. Supporting cast: Fusu, Boss, Zhao Gao, the Daoist in Blue, Lu Zigang, Tang Yuan, and other characters from the original work The mood-setting squad: A laid-back transmigrator and a gossip-loving transmigrator Theme: This world is beautiful. I hope it stays that way forever
