And a villainous Alpha, to boot!

Before she can draw her blade, she finds herself taking her twin sister's place in marriage to the crown prince of the empire.

He's a rare snow-leopard beastman whose beast form is three meters long.

And he's a disposable character who dies at the original heroine's hands right at the start.

In the original novel, the prince is sickly from childhood. When he comes of age, he pretends to present as an Alpha. He seems gentle on the surface, but is actually cold and ruthless, with countless beastmen dead beneath his giant claws.

Before Ming Zhi can assassinate him, he swats her beneath his paw. She thinks she's done for, but to her surprise, he suddenly collapses in front of her, trembling, revealing a pair of fluffy animal ears and a long tail as his enticing pheromones spread.

His whole face seems to say, Come pet me and kiss me! Ming Zhi can't resist, and reaches out to give him a pat.

[Those are some skilled hands. That feels so good.]

Help, this big kitty is ridiculous.

Ming Zhi realizes she really did bring her mind-reading ability over from the cultivation world. It's still as unpredictable as Schrodinger's cat, but that doesn't stop her from being a couch potato.

Her family is fighting over the inheritance, while she just lounges around like a slob, not caring in the slightest. The next day, the Ming family offers her over a thousand planets, claiming that everyone gets a share and no one gets left out.

Ming Zhi: ? You're being this generous?

Her twin sister wants to take her place as the crown prince's consort, so Ming Zhi willingly steps aside. The next day, she hears that her sister has gone mad, and her wedding date to the prince is set.

Ming Zhi: ...Is this what they mean by evil deeds bringing retribution?

That night, the crown prince comes to see her, swishing his leopard tail and smiling like a spring breeze. Ming Zhi thinks she's about to have another run of bad luck, but then she hears a stream of thoughts:

[Dammit, it's been fifteen minutes, and she still hasn't asked why I'm so happy.]
