As an Alpha, Ye Mi is almost everything an Omega could dream of in a partner.
She's humble, gentle, generous, and caring. She has a respectable job and is skilled at all kinds of household chores. Most importantly, she's deeply devoted and never sleeps around. Her heart and eyes hold only one Omega: Pei Yin.
But this dream Alpha, adored by everyone, was abandoned by her own Omega.
And he left without a word, without the slightest warning. He left a note and then vanished without a trace. For three whole years, there was no news of him.
In the first year, whenever someone mentioned Pei Yin in front of Ye Mi, she would lower her eyes in silence, looking a little sad.
In the second year, whenever someone mentioned Pei Yin in front of Ye Mi, she would pause, then carry on with something else as if nothing had happened.
In the third year, whenever someone mentioned Pei Yin in front of Ye Mi, she would smile and say, "Him? That's all in the past."
Then Pei Yin came back. Just like the first time they'd met, he was drenched by the rain, his tall frame curled up pitifully at Ye Mi's doorstep.
When Ye Mi opened the door, Pei Yin looked up at her, his face flushed. She couldn't tell whether he had a fever or was in heat. Pei Yin spoke in a hoarse voice. "Let's do it."
Ye Mi looked at him for half a second, expressionless, then shut the door.
Pei Yin lowered his eyes and managed a strained smile.
Half a second later, the door opened again. Ye Mi wrapped Pei Yin in a blanket and picked him up like a stray dog.
Warnings: 1. Male Omegas get period cramps (I have a peculiar sense of humor, I know).
2. It looks like there won't be any childbirth in the main story (though there may be in an extra).
3. A modern, fictional ABO world.
