Every Day, I Hope the Heroine Doesn't Die of Old Age

This is the first story I ever wrote. It's an old relic, and both the writing and the logic are a disaster. Please don't read it or yell at me. [Money-loving, drama-loving Host bottom vs. slightly obsessive heroine] Why, why, why? Why does the heroine of this old-school Mary Sue novel keep setting her sights on me? Heroine: "You said I'm a Mary Sue?" Yu Jing sobs: "N-No, you're not a Mary Sue. I am, I am." * In the first world, after Yu Jing works himself ragged to set up the male and female leads, and helps the heroine reach the pinnacle of her life, the heroine says, full of affection: "Your Highness, I can finally be with you." Yu Jing, now under house arrest, is utterly baffled. You're the heroine. Are you really going to abandon the male lead to come find me? He gives a tentative whimper. The mission has failed again! * The System gives Yu Jing a bag of sunflower seeds. "Host, after all these worlds, what have you learned?" Yu Jing says solemnly: "Making money is really hard." "That's all?" "Also, Mary Sues have so many flaws." The System is puzzled. "What flaws?" "They're stubborn and obsessed with love." The System asks again: "Don't they have any good qualities?" "They do. Lots of flaws." * I! Work so hard to be your cheat, and you actually abandon the male lead to come find me?! * Tips: A sweet, goofy comedy, with a little angst for the top. A light bit of angst to enjoy with your meal. It's a fictional setting, so don't overthink it!! If you can, please read a few more chapters. I might really be bad at openings. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it. Don't force yourself, and you don't have to tell me. [The first world has a bad ending and is a little angsty. If you don't like that, just skip ahead to the next world.] [The second and third worlds have happy endings and are generally sweet. The third world is almost entirely sweet romance and pampering.] Theme: Even when you're surrounded by darkness, keep looking toward the light
