Political Heavyweights in Yokohama

This story officially begins on May 13! As a major political figure, Nakahara Kazuya's first move after retiring is to return to his birthplace, Yokohama, to search for his family. But on his very first day in Yokohama, he falls in love at first sight with an adorable, green-eyed cat. I want to adopt him! Ranpo the cat glares at him. "If I remember correctly, you were about as tall as the Gravity User when we first met!" Kazuya smiles gently. "Were I? You must be mistaken!" He promptly brings out some red bean cakes to appease the great detective. Ranpo gives Kazuya a sidelong look and happily munches away. "Well, for the sake of the red bean cakes, the great Ranpo will let you off!" Kazuya: Plan successful. For the great detective, while he gazes into the abyss, the abyss gazes back at him. For Kazuya, the process of ensnaring a great detective who comes close to knowing everything is always so much fun. He weaves a net the detective can never escape, yet clearly tells him how to get out safely. Even if it fails in the end, he still won't lose. Ranpo glares at him, annoyed. "Now I get why you hate Dazai-san, but chose to get along with him in the end. Self-loathing from a walking pile of black mud, huh?" Kazuya smiles. "It can't be helped. Ranpo-san really is the world's greatest detective. Making sure there's no loser is the best I can do!" The male lead is overpowered and awesome, with no match in the entire story. He's got a whole honmaru of swords at his side and can unleash his ultimate move anytime, anywhere! Secondary CP: Soukoku, a little Shin Soukoku, and Double Bosses!!! Anime featured include Bungo Stray Dogs, Touken Ranbu, The Case Files of Young Kindaichi, A Girl and Her Dog, and 41-kun, among others. P.S. 1: I finished the outline before the Storm Bringer events. Because of the setting, I can't save Rimbaud or the Flags, but I save everyone else I can, including Oda Sakunosuke, the five children, and the boss! P.S. 2: This is a sweet story, tooth-achingly sweet. Everyone gets a happy ending except the characters mentioned in P.S. 1. P.S. 2: The original work belongs to Teacher Asagiri, and the fanfiction belongs to me. OOC is inevitable, but I'll do my best to stay in character. Announcement: This story will be put behind a paywall on Friday, June 5. I'll post 10,000 words then, plus a red packet giveaway! Exclusive to Jinjiang. No reprints!!!!!!!! Theme: Even if the future fills you with uncertainty, you must bravely keep moving forward
