Blurb:
Jiang Xiannian is an acting student. He doesn't fit in, but has an exceptional talent for acting, and all his instructors have high hopes for him.
But almost no one knows that he's never been able to empathize with the characters he plays.
In everyday life, he sometimes misreads other people's emotions, too.
The day he met Ji Baicen, Jiang Xiannian was at the end of his rope.
The beautiful, radiant young man held a bouquet of roses with the key to an expensive sports car tucked among them up to his face. His expression wavered and he spoke at lightning speed, looking so arrogant that it seemed more like a hint than a confession.
For the sake of the only hope he had left, Jiang Xiannian proposed a contract.
Ji Baicen's reaction left him puzzled, but in the end, they successfully signed the deal.
From then on, Jiang Xiannian diligently played the role of Ji Baicen's contract lover. He never made a fuss, threw a tantrum, or acted coy. Even when Ji Baicen often mocked him, he didn't take it to heart, considering them simply an employer and employee whose accounts would soon be settled.
But then he accidentally stumbled upon Ji Baicen's private account:
January 7 last year
"Is there anything worse than seriously confessing your feelings and getting rejected?"
"Of course. Being asked how much you'll pay!"
May 26 last year
"Why is he so lovable?"
"I want to lay every good thing in the world at his feet."
June 26 last year
"He still thinks I'm just a stupidly rich ATM. Fine, great. If I ever fall for Jiang Xiannian again, I'm a dog!"
Yesterday
"Woof."
"I think I'm done for."
"After all this time, I still like Jiang Xiannian so much."
[Emotionally impaired, autistic, straightforward, dedicated bottom x Radiant, flamboyant little princess, should throw away his useless mouth, keeps eating his words and holding a double standard top]
[Misunderstandings and melodrama. The two leads are devoted to each other, body and soul, from beginning to end.]
[They enter the entertainment industry around chapter thirty.]
[A healing story about personal growth. Both characters have issues at the start.]
[Expanded from an outline posted on a forum in August. The posting date has been screenshotted.]

Blurb:
Xu Ya was an NPC in an old-school, melodramatic love story about a runaway pregnancy: the unborn child who was carried away, the "baby" in the belly.
As a cannon-fodder character who had been ready to make his entrance but never even got to show his face, Xu Ya was deeply aggrieved.
By a twist of fate, he was reborn in the story as a fellow disciple of his two fathers back when they were young.
To ensure he would be born, Xu Ya diligently played matchmaker for his two future dads, fighting single-handedly against the biggest obstacle to their love: the deranged Baili Mei!
Baili Mei worshipped Xu Ya's birth father as a god. That pure moonlight was beyond his reach, and he would never allow anyone else to lay a finger on it. He repeatedly drove a wedge between the couple and even schemed to make them take up arms against each other.
So Xu Ya carefully drew up a battle plan, treating Baili Mei as an extremely dangerous threat and keeping him well away from his own dad.
When pitiful, down-on-his-luck Baili Mei was bullied, Xu Ya dug a pit in the path his dad would take.
When a secret-realm collapse was supposed to earn Baili Mei favor, Xu Ya kicked him away from his dad's side.
When Baili Mei's half-demon identity was exposed and he was about to face public condemnation, Xu Ya cast a silencing spell on everyone before his dad could stand up for him.
Xu Ya had always smugly believed that he was nipping trouble in the bud by preventing Baili Mei from ever being alone with his dad.
Until one day, Baili Mei lit up the entire Wuyou Valley with thirty thousand soul-binding lanterns and confessed his love to him. Xu Ya was dumbfounded.
Theme: Everyone deserves to be loved. As long as you keep living, you can always find hope!

Not enough oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Woohoo, didn't I explain to everyone that I just went to work every year to pay off my debts?
Cute cookies! I feel that some parts are not explained clearly and I hope there will be extra chapters to write more about it, but overall it is still very unsatisfactory.
One chapter is locked and cannot be seen
It feels like the fact that Nian Nian is not being taken care of is not clearly written out, and Ji doesn't know about Nian Nian's previous illness, but it's still very sweet.
When will you open the next book?
It's beautiful. I like it!!!!
Is the misunderstanding finally going to be solved? (The dog is sneaky)
Spread flowers, but didn't you go to work every year? Why didn't you explain clearly?
