From then on, I lived a miserable life under his thumb. To escape his control, I decided to seduce the Beast of Namimori. But the guy was a block of wood. Not only did he refuse to fall for it, he kept me in his bedroom to watch him sleep. I tried to drive a wedge between the Vongola executives, only to discover that he'd seen through my tricks from the start and was just messing with me for fun! Until I got so mad that I picked up a gun and shot him in the shoulder. I panicked and fled to Italy that same night. By chance, I met a gullible, obedient golden-haired rich fool. He even promised that if I married him, he'd give me his entire family. ...I was sorely tempted. Unfortunately, things can't go smoothly forever. The day before the wedding, the Vongola came looking for me. The man whose shoulder I'd shot through smiled at me, all sweetness on the surface and darkness underneath. "Lilia, have you had enough fun?" [Warning: The heroine really is not smart. She's foolish and nasty, and repays kindness with spite. She's petty too. If you can't accept this type of heroine, please leave now!] Note: Characters will definitely be out of character. Later, there will be a love polygon with unrequited feelings. The setting is during the characters' high school years in Katekyo Hitman Reborn, with almost none of the manga's plot. This is my first time writing this type of heroine, so the characterization may very well fall apart. ------[Story Blurb]------ You Qi thinks this world is so childish. As a mature adult mixed in with them, she feels like she's entered survival hard mode. 1. Being scolded by a teacher is no big deal. What's important is protecting her deskmate's self-esteem. After all, the best elementary school student in the whole city can't be scolded by a teacher in front of everyone! Whether he listens to a bedtime story isn't important. What matters is acting. If she pretends to fall asleep fast enough, her father, who has started telling her a bedtime story, can get some rest sooner! 2. After finally making it to junior high, You Qi thinks she can at last catch her breath! But then she discovers that the world is getting chuunibyou, and all the kids around her seem to have pressed some strange button. They even call out the names of their moves while playing tennis, things like "Waltz of Destruction," "Laser Beam," and "xx Realm"... 3. Her childhood friend has nowhere to release his teenage hormones, so she ends up as the victim (not x You Qi: Heh, heh. Note: The story's timeline starts in elementary school. It's a day-by-day account. Apologies for any out-of-character writing. I started working on it again and made a few minor changes to the blurb. I hope to finish the main story before March (though that looks difficult at the moment). Thanks for reading! (bows) Warnings: The point of view switches to first person starting in chapter 10.
