(Bloodbath□□) Six Feet Under

She awoke in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, in 1918.

Here, corpses littered the streets, corrupt cops were everywhere, and filth festered all around. For a few shillings, you could buy a poor family's daughter.

A black-haired woman pulled her from the river and looked at her with the eyes of a she-wolf. "From now on, your name is Meg."

She nodded.

No matter what, she had to survive.

In this silent game of wits between two people, Thomas sometimes worried about his innocent, straightforward opponent.

She had shown her hand too soon.

Only later did he realize that he had already been more than willing to lose to her.

Note: 1. Updates whenever inspiration strikes. This is purely a labor of love. Please don't ask for updates; if that bothers you, feel free to remove it from your favorites.

2. A healing, happy ending. The original show is already heartbreaking, so here, I'm going to shower them with affection.

3. The heroine is a sincere, straightforward sweetheart, and she'll have her own career. Don't expect her to crush everyone around her.

4. I won't bash the original female characters. I like the female leads in every season except the third.

Theme: Make Tommy a little happier
