[Touken Ranbu] Why Make Things Hard for Another Blade Spirit?

My name is the Demon Chef Muramasa. The Chef part comes from the story of Ding the Butcher carving up an ox, and I'm also known as the Demon Blade Muramasa.

For some reason, I have no master, yet I can take human form using my own spiritual energy.

Why am I called the Demon Chef?

Because there's always something sinister about me. One stroke is all it takes for me to butcher someone into pieces, just like Ding the Butcher carving up an ox.

I also corrupt my masters. Every one of them eventually went mad and died by suicide.

I spend most of my time asleep. When I wake, I take a look at the world.

After I somehow tore a hole in space and time...

Someone claiming to represent the Time Government came to my door. They said my spiritual energy was powerful and wanted me to become their Saniwa.

Don't get me wrong, nearly seven hundred years have passed since I first gained my memories, but I'm still up to date! I know the premise, though I'm not familiar with it. It's just Touken Ranbu... huh?

I can't remember the names of these sword spirits!

Why make things hard for another sword spirit? Let me go!
