When there's trouble, Zhong Wuyan; when there's none, Xia Yingchun.
The Zhong family has a daughter named Wu Yan. (Updates whenever inspiration strikes.)
Synopsis One
When Zhong Wuyan first sees Xia Yingchun, he is dressed in silk, his face veiled. Every step is like a lotus flower blooming, and his graceful figure is breathtakingly beautiful.
But Zhong Wuyan notices the legendary Miss Lin of the Lin family beside him, along with her common-born husband who married into her family. Miss Lin has a bundle and a hoe slung over her shoulder, and a basket of flower petals in her left hand. The man beside her keeps mumbling about chowing down on a huge melon, and his hairstyle seems a little crooked too. Curious, Zhong Wuyan stares for a few moments, then accidentally bumps into Xia Yingchun. She smacks straight into a hard board and cries out in pain.
"Sorry," says Xia Yingchun, looking down at the woman.
"What a... lovely, refined girl."
Zhong Wuyan hears the beauty above her muttering, and immediately says,
"? What is wrong with you??"
A lighthearted, illogical story with no literary pretensions. The male lead is forced to become a cross-dressing powerhouse. A big pot of stew, a completely fictional setting, countless author-created details, and Fu Dai has made an appearance.
Theme: Ordinary, happy days are what really matter
No one? I feel like it's well written.
