Fighting Zombies from a Wheelchair

He Feiling, age 28, former leader of the Central Plains martial arts alliance, has lived as a recluse in the mountains for three years since her inner strength was sealed. Day after day, she's bored out of her mind.

Until she finds a beautiful amnesiac named A Li by the river, clinging to life.

A Li discusses martial arts with her, plays chess, and barbecues with her. They hit it off and talk as if they had reunited after lifetimes apart. He Feiling thinks her peaceful reclusive life can go on forever, but who can predict what fate has in store?

The ancient Liang tomb opens, corpse poison spreads, and a group of young zombie hunters burn down her wooden house and vegetable patch.

He Feiling: What the hell?

So He Feiling, full of energy but without inner strength, and A Li, with inner strength but too frail to stand, somehow make up a team of experts. Pushing a broken wheelchair, they set off with a creak and a groan to fight zombies!

As turmoil sweeps through the world, a new chapter in the legends of the martial arts world is about to begin.

Only later does He Feiling understand that meeting A Li was indeed a sweet rain after crossing mountains, a reward after weathering countless storms.
