Sara is the wasteland's most ruthless nest lord and builder. With an iron fist, she turns a savage insectoid race into a civilized society where people can read, trade, and register their marriages.

Until she finds a blind male insectoid who has been abandoned,

a ruthless executioner who knows only slaughter and reeks of blood.

She treats his wounds, teaches him to read, and tells him to put on a uniform and patrol.

She thinks she's raised a guard dog, never realizing that she has become the only cage and deity in his deranged world.

For her, he tears through the pollution monsters on the ice plain and smashes the Sky City atop the clouds.

In the most humble manner, he asks for the one thing he wants: to belong to her alone.

"My life is yours, my killing is yours, and my way home is yours, too."

"Sara, once we're registered, you can't abandon me again."

Later, after the wasteland is unified, on their wedding night,

the male insectoid she once kept beneath her feet traps her in a tiny space, his voice hoarse and fierce.

"For you, I can keep my fangs sheathed forever..."
