The Second Young Lady Was Once an Assassin

[A light and sweet story about love after marriage] People say life in a wealthy family is difficult, but Jing Fu doesn't think so at all. After years of living by the sword, she was finally brought back by the Duke of Liguo's household. Her relatives all said she was dull and ill-mannered. Her well-read and refined cousin said, "You can learn slowly, Cousin~" Jing Fu: That's right! I'm a quick learner! Her cousin performed a sword dance, then smiled gracefully. "Why don't you join me, Cousin?" Jing Fu nodded enthusiastically. She was in! After a few quick moves, she smashed her cousin's jeweled hairpin. Her cousin: ...!!! Second Uncle: Fu'er can't read or write. She's never even held a brush, has she? Jing Fu breathed a sigh of relief. "Then I don't have to study!" Third Aunt: And you don't know how to dress properly. You have none of the bearing of a young lady. Jing Fu's eyes lit up. "Then I don't have to learn all those annoying rules, either." Her relatives froze. "That's not what we meant." Jing Fu was overjoyed. "Good heavens! My family is so wonderful. I'm going to be so happy!" That was until she ran into the Heir of Prince Zhou. Unfathomable emotions swirled in the heir's dark eyes. "You..." Weren't you the assassin who failed to kill me all those years ago? She waved a hand modestly. "Let's not dwell on past glory." The heir rolled his eyes: ... The very next day, she was betrothed to the Heir of Prince Zhou. Jing Fu: "#@%&#" The heir: "What did you say?" Jing Fu: "I'll kill you!" The heir gave a soft laugh. "You'd only have a chance in the bedroom." Notes: 1. A lazy, unconventional heroine VS a seemingly sweet but secretly scheming hero who holds a grudge 2. The heroine is incredibly good at light-footedness and runs like the wind. When she can't win an argument with the hero, she simply takes off, leaving him fuming in her dust.
