Digimon: A Connected Other World
Introduction: This work has three volumes. Volume 1: The Beginning, Frontier
Haruko Kitagawa, who lives in the real world, hears the call of Ophanimon and travels with her older sister Yuko Kitagawa to the world of Digimon Frontier. There, she inherits the "Spirits of Nothingness" and "Spirits of Being," which were created through the combined efforts of the Three Great Angels and Mastemon to prevent Lucemon from breaking free of its seal. They were made from the basic data of the Spirits left behind by the Ten Legendary Warriors, along with Mastemon's data and some of the data from Black Tailmon and Tailmon. (P.S. The Ultimate-level Hidden Spiritmon and Voidmon evolved beyond their level from the Spirits of Nothingness and Being, respectively. They are the Adult forms of the two Salamon sisters who live in Salamon Village: Calico Catmon and Witchmon. For various reasons, they are waiting inside the Spirits for partners who can inherit their power. They can take physical form.)
Nana Fujino is a second-year middle school student who transmigrated from the real world to Digimon Adventure. She has her own Crest, "Tolerance." After the space-time black hole created by the battle between MetalGreymon and Etemon, she and her Digimon, Lunamon, arrive in the world of Digimon Frontier. She defeats and inherits the Spirit of Water, then returns to the human world with Haruko and the others after they defeat Lucemon. With the help of what remains of Ophanimon's power, she returns to the world of Digimon Adventure...
