By day, the tiny Gu Xiaobai called her "Big Sis" in a sweet little voice. By night, he turned into the devilish instructor Gu Mo, tossed her out the door, and made her face a brutal zombie attack.
After being tempered by life and death, Su Lan finally learned to smash zombie heads without batting an eye. At that point, the tiny Gu Xiaobai told her to head north to the Dawn Base.
On the way north, she ran into Mei Li, who had stolen her golden finger, and joined her team.
She got her hands on Mei Li's mutated beast pet first.
She took Mei Li's plant pet first.
She blew away the level-five zombie Mei Li controlled.
In the end, Mei Li's protagonist's halo kicked in, and the team abandoned her.
Su Lan thought it over. There were countless dangers ahead, and she didn't want to get involved anyway. She snatched the opportunities and resources, then walked away without a backward glance.
Every day, the tiny Gu Xiaobai would gaze at her with shining eyes and say, "Big Sis is amazing! Big Sis is the best!"
Every night, the devilish instructor Gu Mo would drag her outside and say, "You're too weak. Get stronger."
