You Die If You Deviate from the Script
Su Luo transmigrated into an old-school, melodramatic angst novel.
And he was the protagonist who got abused!
He had to fight back!
Deviate from the script and die, huh?
He chose to lie flat!
If he was going to die, then fine. He wouldn't put himself through all that misery. Better a quick end than prolonged suffering!
But because he tried to give up, the System specially designed a feature for him: deviating from the script would cause a rollback.
The story's opening: the eighteen-year-old protagonist, desperate for money, sells himself to domineering CEO Gu Chu as his lover. That very night, the two of them get busy.
After going through eighteen rollbacks, Su Luo shed tears of regret and gave in.
You've got me, System!
Forced to accept that he was a masochistic bottom, Su Luo diligently followed the System's instructions and played the innocent little flower for quite a while.
This plot was ugly, awful, and way too long!
Su Luo was about to suffocate.
Could none of these people open their mouths and talk?
Su Luo found a bug.
The rules said he couldn't deviate from the plot, but they never said he couldn't speed it up.
Su Luo put the plot into overdrive, racing along at a hundred and eighty kilometers per hour and bringing it straight to the finale.
Love and hate, spy-game misunderstandings, marriage registration: he wrapped them all up in a single day!
Su Luo and Gu Chu made a deal. Su Luo would tell Gu Chu everything he wanted to know, and Gu Chu would go through the plot with him, get the marriage license, then get a divorce certificate afterward.
Who knew that bastard Gu Chu would go back on his word and refuse to divorce him!
After transmigrating into the book, Su Luo discovered that something bad would happen if he didn't follow the plot, so he instantly changed his tune and became Gu Chu's most devoted bootlicker.
"I'm willing to be Mr. Gu's lover. Mr. Gu is my whole world!"
(Save me, this is so nauseating. Luo-ge, I'm suffocating.)
"As long as Mr. Gu needs me, I'll give my life for him!"
(You son of a bitch. The day Luo-ge gets his freedom back will be the day your head rolls.)
And so, Su Luo buttered up Gu Chu every day, enjoying the look on Gu Chu's liver-colored face. He couldn't have been happier.
The plot moved forward, he played the lovesick fool, and Gu Chu got thoroughly creeped out. Life was wonderful.
One day, he went to flirt with Gu Chu as usual. He walked up to him out of habit and considerately massaged his shoulders.
Before he could even get out a flirtatious line, he spotted the plan he'd personally written for Gu Chu's demise in Gu Chu's hands!
Su Luo: "...Someone save Luo Luo."
