A new novel is here: "The True Young Master Drops the Act [Reborn]." Please add it to your collection~
Blurb:
A scheming beauty & a reserved tycoon [Married first, love later; older man]
Wen Bai is the youngest prince of the Wen imperial clan.
He is handsome and good-natured.
With only eighty of his eight hundred tricks, he calmly survived until the new emperor took the throne and was granted the title of prince.
One day, he transmigrates into a book set in the modern world seven hundred years later.
Wen Bai transmigrates into the unloved youngest son of a wealthy family. His parents, siblings, and beloved force him to marry the head of the Lin family, Lin Jinting, who is unconscious after a car accident.
He marries into the family to bring good fortune, but they take his dowry and withhold the betrothal gifts.
According to the original story, mistreated by his family and then forced to watch his half-brother marry the person he loves, he eventually dies of depression.
Wen Bai, who has watched palace intrigue and succession struggles unfold, sits on the wedding bed and takes three minutes to calculate his odds: a sure win. Nothing to worry about.
His cheap father threatens in a fury, "Without the family backing you, you're nothing."
Wen Bai calmly wishes him well. "If your idea of support is sending someone away to bring good fortune, being an orphan sounds better. I hope you reincarnate soon."
His former beloved, with a built-in CPU, reproaches him. "I'm doing this for your own good. The Lin family is powerful and wealthy. They won't mistreat you. This is a wonderful opportunity. Are you treating me like a stranger because you blame me?"
Wen Bai offers him a lesson in conscience. "Next time, keep this wonderful opportunity for yourself. And trash is meant to be thrown out. Blame you? That's a waste of emotion."
Later,
His cheap father humbly pleads, "We're family. We should value harmony above all."
His former beloved, still running on a built-in CPU, regrets everything. "Wen Bai, I regret it. You're the one I truly love. Can we start over?"
Wen Bai smiles serenely. "Going around me is very harmonious. And I don't regret anything."
The CPU keeps pestering him.
Wen Bai pulls the newly awakened Lin tycoon over to back him up. "He's more handsome than you, taller than you, and richer than you. As for starting over, you're... not quite good enough."
The Lin tycoon, who's become addicted to standing up for his little partner, says, "Then, what about us..."
Wen Bai decides this man is worth getting along with and answers confidently, "Of course we're different."
The Lin tycoon perks up.
Wen Bai asks expectantly whether, when their marriage agreement expires and they divorce, he might be in need of a good brother who shares neither parent but would stand by him through thick and thin.
Undoing his buttons, the Lin tycoon sincerely suggests, "Maybe we should first see whether we're a good match."

Sigh... This article is really worth a billion... Standing still...
The first book by the author I read was "The Best Actor Just Wants Salted Fish", and I have subscribed to several more books intermittently. In fact, I can probably figure out two routines, one is that the crematorium fails to reconcile and the right man comes to power, and the other is that the crematorium is successfully restored. An author has a routine, and it doesn't matter if he writes well.
But this book is a bit too lazy and unabashed. I can't tell the difference between Lin Jinting and Zhou Jiarong, nor the difference between Wen Bai and Zhu Yu. Lu Ming... Is a super low-end version of Zhou Ming, Ming Ming is like Ming, and makes sense as well. He Lichuan and Ye Qing also have shadows of their previous roles.
Speaking of which, after a prince traveled through time, he not only willingly but also happily became an actor (I don't mean to look down on the entertainment industry, but it's not normal for the ancients to have no prejudices). Is it unreasonable? I can't find a second explanation except that the author is used to the entertainment industry and refuses to step out of his comfort zone.
Even if you speculate on the character setting, at least maintain the quality of the emotional line. It is so hasty that you can't see the process of Wen Bai being tempted to being firm. The romance is over, and it is incredibly hasty. Quite disappointed.
The last few articles written by Xingxing are a bit hard to describe. I don't know how to describe them. It's hard to describe them in one sentence. What we want to see is the emotional drama. The relationship has just begun, and you have finished the text... Just, very speechless.
Um... Didn't I say before that the ancient Wen Bai died of a heart attack at the age of eighteen? And he's not ranked seventeenth, am I remembering wrong?
Damn it, I have a friend who wants to know why his back hurts and his eyes hurt.
Wow wow wow I want to see sweet love, why is it not available? Woo woo woo woo
Peaceful?... Finally confessed
Usually when they are all enlightened, it's time to finish...
The extra story is good, but it conflicts a bit with the historical story about Wen Bai's sudden death from a heart attack that was written at the beginning of the article.
Sprinkle flowers to celebrate the completion~~~~This book is really good! Although the routine is old, but! Sister likes it! It's refreshing and warm, for Xiao Wenbai and Xiao He. It's rare to find a daddy-boyfriend, Lin, who only makes people feel comfortable without offending, and has just the right sense of proportion, great!
Wen Bai also lived a good life
