Blurb: After drowning, Xie Zhen, the third empress of the Great Qi dynasty, opened her eyes in a strange world. She learned two things: One, her name was Xie Yu, and she was an actress. Two, she had a fiancée, and she was a woman. The first came naturally to her. As for the second, she accepted it with some reluctance. After all, when you marry a chicken, you follow the chicken; when you marry a dog, you follow the dog. Ming Lu discovered that her fiancée, who used to want nothing whatsoever to do with her, had suddenly changed her attitude. Specifically, she started bringing her lovingly prepared lunches, making matching knot bracelets for them, and knitting her sweaters... Could it be that she had always liked me? She was just too shy to say so before. How am I supposed to respond to such deep love... Then one day, Xie Zhen proposed breaking off their engagement. Ming Lu was dumbfounded, but Xie Zhen earnestly explained, “I finally understand. Things are different in this new era. Everyone should pursue the love that belongs to them!” Ming Lu: Wife, is this really the first time you’ve realized it’s the modern age, and that our engagement was arranged by our elders? President Ming was devastated. Her wife had flirted with her and then refused to take responsibility! Ming Lu went online to look for advice, only to find her fiancée’s fans waving banners and calling for her to break off the engagement. They had even come up with several ships pairing her wife with other people. Unacceptable! Later, Ming Lu happily showed off their loving relationship to the media and successfully declared her claim. That night, Ming Lu got excited, drank herself silly, and called for Xie Zhen to take her home. The next day, Ming Lu saw her wife holding her phone and reading her a news story: Shocking! President Ming’s true love is a woman named Zhen'er. Xie Yu was only a substitute! Why have melodramatic love stories suddenly surged overnight? Read on to find out how even an award-winning actress can still end up wearing a green hat! ☆☆☆ A top who only wants a wife vs. a bottom who only wants to act and build her career Don't take the entertainment industry details too seriously; there are some liberties taken.
