Stranded on an Island, with a Divine Golden Finger from the Start

I, Ailin Lawson, am an ordinary beastfolk born on the continent of Sulos. When I turned sixteen, I made a contract with an unknown deity: I was able to borrow divine power in advance to heal my critically injured body, but in exchange, I had to follow instructions to "save a weakened deity." The first instruction I received was: Pull weeds and collect grass leaves. But right now, my family and I are miserably adrift at sea. In the middle of this vast ocean! Pull weeds and collect grass leaves? Ailin: I suspect you have a tiny little problem [points to head] Some Unknown Deity, Sulos: ...There's an island right in front of you! A really huge island!
