A Hodgepodge of Worldviews

The world had become a little strange.

In the deep blue sky, it seemed something was always about to spill out and drip down;

Every night, someone photographed unidentified flying objects passing over the city;

In street corners and alleyways, stray cats and dogs whispered to one another, watching passersby with eerie eyes;

In an unfinished, deserted building, someone crouched at a window, veins bulging all over his body, driven nearly mad by hunger.

People felt uneasy, but had no idea what lay behind these strange signs.

Only Youjia saw the whole truth.

He was a minor celebrity with barely any work, so idle he had nothing better to do than pick at his feet. Then he began automatically transforming into a little sparrow at the same time every night.

He flew here and there, seeing an immense Old God in the sky whose form defied description, and a UFO crashed on a remote mountain, from which crawled an unnaturally long extraterrestrial visitor.

He saw cats and dogs turn into humans, and humans pinning down their own kind to suck their blood...

Youjia: Good grief, we've got Cthulhu and aliens, beastfolk and vampires. What other settings have they thrown in? Is this some kind of genre stew?

But even though he knew everything, he couldn't say a word. Until one day...

They finally made contact with humanity.

A ruthless bottom who thinks his acting is brilliant and anyone who fails to appreciate it is an idiot x an Old God whose exact personality hasn't been decided yet, but who is definitely incredibly powerful
