Story blurb:
Wen Yang is a veteran web novelist who rode the wave of online fiction’s popularity and made a fortune.
Before turning thirty, she had already bought the big dream house she’d always wanted, in full.
On the day she moved in, the five male leads from her novels suddenly turned into little kids. They stood at the door, all looking up at her and calling her Mom.
Wen Yang: ... Does this mean I’m a mom now, whether I like it or not?
After raising five troublesome sons, Wen Yang’s dream of a peaceful retirement is turned upside down.
Every day, the moment she gets out of bed, she’s either being called to the school or on her way there.
At long last, she runs into the man she used to idolize, but before they can exchange more than a couple of words, the little brats rush in from nowhere and interrupt them.
Oldest: "Man, give it up. You’re not good enough for her."
Second: "Can you fight? Come on, let’s throw down."
Fourth: "You have an extraordinary bone structure. Care to visit my Taoist temple?"
Fifth: "Can you do five years of gaokao exams and three years of practice tests? At lightning speed."
Third looks left and right. "You... can you shed your skin?"
Wen Yang: Please, just shut up.
But her old crush only smiles. "Are they your sons?"
PS: This should be a lighthearted, absurd slice-of-life story.
[Reading Guide]:
1. There is a male lead, but he appears later and is mostly in the background.
2. This is my take on raising kids and kindergartens. All the worldbuilding serves the plot.
3. I believe no one is perfect, so all the characters will be complex. But if you feel a character doesn’t make sense, that’s definitely a problem with my writing ability. Don’t doubt yourself.
4. You can point out problems, but no insults or passive-aggressive remarks. The author will get upset, and when I’m upset, I can’t write properly. (That’s a threat.)
Theme: Accept your imperfections and make peace with yourself
This brother is really rude... I just checked my sister's IP address. The same goes for this brother's girlfriend. Is this a stick to give a candied date? She has already said everything to her. Why didn't her boyfriend persuade him when he didn't say hello? Does he have no quality or brains?
Teacher: Five children with five surnames, let's just say, it's really exciting. Half-mother? Fraternal quintuplets? I'll be a good boy!
I can't stand the slightest bit of behavior where the heroine is at a disadvantage without even knowing it.
I can shed my skin too, I'm so awesome!
Writing articles is so profitable, ah ah ah,
