My Disciple Is My Rival's Favorite Idol

As the top draft pick in the KPL (Honor of Kings Professional League), Lu Shen (Jiang Lu) of the SKY team is a gorgeous, highly skilled jungler, an idol adored by countless fans.

Unfortunately, she's an aloof beauty with a heart of stone.

What few people know is that this seemingly cold esports goddess is actually a devoted fan, and she can't stand Yi Chen, the rival of her beloved idol.

Recently, Jiang Lu unexpectedly took on a young support player online. He doesn't talk much, but every time they dive deep into enemy territory, he risks his life to protect her. Gradually, Jiang Lu's opinion of her apprentice improves.

Apprentice: What are you thinking about, Master?

Jiang Lu: That celebrity Yi Chen. He's always either promoting a fake couple or acting melancholic. He's so damn annoying.

Apprentice: ???

Jiang Lu: He's so good-looking, but if he had even half your personality, I wouldn't hate him so much.

Apprentice: ...

Later, Jiang Lu leads her team into the finals.

Before the match, the organizers invite celebrities to help drum up excitement, including the Yi Chen whom Jiang Lu despises.

When the camera turns to Yi Chen, he's wearing a white shirt and jeans, looking every bit the youthful heartthrob.

During the cheer segment, when asked who he's rooting for, Yi Chen looks at Jiang Lu, his eyes shining like stars.

Jiang Lu: What are you looking at? If you pick me, I'll roast you.

Yi Chen: Of course I'm rooting for my Master, Lu Shen.

Jiang Lu nearly falls off her chair.

My adorable apprentice is the rival of my favorite celebrity. And not long ago, I insulted him to his face. What do I do? Asking for help online, it's urgent.
