Blurb:

Possessive/cold hunk gong x pampered young master with a fiery temper/phoenix chick shou. Updated daily.

What could a little chubby bird possibly be plotting?

He just wants to eat the campus heartthrob's bird-shaped cookies.

*

The spoiled Qiu Yu misses a step and turns into an egg, hatching right in front of his rival, the campus heartthrob.

The fluffy little bird's eyes light up. He spreads his soft wings and flutters toward him.

But when he's only a few inches away, he suddenly chirps twice, then flops onto the ground and refuses to get up.

Having witnessed the whole act, Feng Ran raises an eyebrow. "Impressive."

The military academy's heartthrob steps right over the little bird without changing his expression.

Amnesiac Qiu Yu: ...Outrageous!

The little bird angrily flaps his wings and hides inside the hood of the heartthrob's sweatshirt, turning into a fluffy little ball of fury.

Can you believe someone doesn't want to take in an adorable little bird? How is that fair?

Little does he know, when those fluffy wings brush Feng Ran's neck, the cold heartthrob secretly smiles.

*

Looking at the squishy little bird perched on his shoulder, Feng Ran pokes him in the belly with a finger.

"Hey, do you think braised bird tastes better, or deep-fried bird?"

Qiu Yu is furious. "??? Chirp!"

For the next few days, Qiu Yu keeps an eye on Feng Ran, afraid he'll toss him into a pot and stew him.

But after all that worrying, the campus heartthrob still devours him until not a bone is left.

The little bird buries his head in his wings. No matter how sweetly Feng Ran coaxes him, he refuses to turn back into a person.

[Bonus Scene]

Feng Ran pinches the furious little dumpling curled in his palm. "Are you really a phoenix?"

The chick wiggles his little bottom, clearly not interested in talking to him.

The famously icy heartthrob picks up a skewer. "Then... how about trying to breathe fire?"

The little bird burns with rage, his beady eyes lighting up as he chirps and rants.

"Even if I starve to death today, die out there, or jump from here, I, Qiu Yu, will never eat one of your bird cookies!"

A moment later...

He snatches the grilled skewer Feng Ran offers him and smacks his lips. "So good."

The author's current ongoing novel, Stealing a Fluffy Kitten Cookie, is looking for a spot in your reading list. Blurb below.

Sharp-tongued, devious, possessive instructor wolfdog Alpha x arrogant, fiery-tempered, gorgeous young master with a real, very long tail Omega.

As a beautiful, spoiled young Beta master, Xie Yindeng has always lived however he pleases while attending military school.

Then one day, he awakens to his nine-tailed fox heritage and starts developing into an Omega.

The pheromones of his rival instructor, Qin Wangye, become irresistible. They ease the pain of his differentiation and help him maintain his human form well enough to pass his tests.

So by day, the two trade barbs. By night, Xie Yindeng turns into a little fox and shows up at his instructor's dorm to ask for cuddles.

At first, Qin Wangye frowns and grabs him by the scruff. "You stink. Get out, now!"

Later...

Desperate, Qin Wangye asks everyone he meets, "Where's my fox? How can a big, soft, sweet-smelling fox like mine just disappear?"

-

Xie Yindeng completes his differentiation.

When he hears that his parents have found him a highly compatible Alpha, and that being marked during his heat will help control his uncontrollable tail and ears, he is overjoyed.

The little fox dates the man online to build a connection, all while nursing his poor, tightly curled-up tail, which has been petted to pieces. He packs up all the fox treats in his instructor's home and runs off.

Bye-bye!

-

The little fox goes missing.

Qin Wangye uses his private resources to search every inch of the mountain, but can't find him. A cloud of gloom hangs over the military academy.

Then one day, he grabs a fox tail and pulls the young master out of the line.

Xie Yindeng bares his teeth and claws. "Ow! That hurts! What tail? How can you just make up something like that and ruin my good name?"

Qin Wangye grits his teeth, rubs the big tail, and calls out the username Xie uses online. "Fox Spirit, Fox Appears. You weren't saying that last night."

The young master freezes in embarrassment, while a threat laden with possessiveness rumbles in his ear.

"Do you get it now?"

"You don't get to use me and then walk away without consequences."

[Bonus Scene]

Everyone knows the young master and the instructor are enemies, until someone overhears them talking.

Xie Yindeng: "Hurry up and mark me, or that tail..."

An innocent passerby: ??? Thanks, I think I'll turn a different color now.

When the news gets out, the secretly devoted ship fans go wild and drag the two of them to the civil affairs bureau, plopping them down in front of the marriage registration desk.

"Marriage certificate? Hand it over, you two!"

"Shocking news of the year! The feisty, gorgeous young master and his instructor are together!"

1. A sweet, satisfying happy ending with no angst. If it's not sweet, you don't pay!

2. Both are each other's first love.
