From the time Fang Xiangyi was little, her parents always thought the boy next door, Li Weiqi, would end up behind bars sooner or later. They never expected him to become a huge star, with tens of millions of fans, by all accounts. Their own daughter grew up just as they had hoped: she got into a top university, graduated, and found a steady job. They never expected their precious girl to wind up with the neighborhood rascal by a twist of fate.
After Fang Xiangyi and Li Weiqi broke up, she would always dream of that summer in 2015: the bus rolling down an asphalt road, the breeze from the window brushing against her restless heart, endless fields stretching beyond the glass, and a song playing in her headphones: "Once upon a time, someone loved you for a long time, but the wind gradually blew us far apart." Li Weiqi was sitting right beside her.
