When Tang Xia woke up, she discovered that she had become an NPC in an escape game, traveling between all sorts of terrifying and bizarre worlds.

She only wanted a peaceful life, but the players kept mistaking her for a target and trying to kill her, while the other NPCs inexplicably adored her.

And that wasn't even the worst of it. People who seemed to be bosses kept clinging to her.

From then on, Tang Xia had to dodge the players trying to kill her, the NPCs' excessive affection, and learn how to escape the bosses.

Boss: La la la, I found my scapegoat. Pass my test and you're mine. Surprised? Didn't see that coming?

NPCs: She's our treasure. Anyone who hurts her dies! And boss, could you stop hogging her attention? We're so upset, boohoo.

Players: What the hell, I'm done with this game!

Blurb for the upcoming novel:

Lately, players have felt that one person doesn't fit in with them at all. While they scramble to solve puzzles and escape, this self-proclaimed player keeps running around among the NPCs.

After Tang Yuyuan died in an accident, she became bound to a Wish System. The System told her that if she fulfilled the wishes of the natives in each world and filled up the collection meter, she could be reborn.

Tang Yuyuan agreed, but was caught up in a strange, terrifying escape-game world during the transfer.

Her response: Huh? Oh, it's fine. I can still get the job done.

And so:

Ghost Bride: Boohoo, I had such a miserable life in my last life. I died before I could get married. This time, I want to find a husband.

Tang Yuyuan: Sure, sure, leave it to me. I just saw a dead man in the dry well. I'll set you up with him right away.

Players: Is this newbie trying to get herself killed? That's a vengeful ghost in there, the boss of this instance.

Vengeful ghost: ...

System: Impressive. That's our Taro Ball for you.

Theme: Spread love, survive against all odds.
