On the Ghost Festival, the fifteenth day of the seventh month, transmigrated heroine You Heng invites her childhood friend Qu Yang to admire the moon. She leaps into the lake, but is pulled out before she can get her fill of water. Later, she encounters the aloof Ghost Lord Yi Chen. He praises the color of her clothes and says he wants to marry her, but You Heng only wants to return to her own world. She later learns that gathering soul energy of different colors can create a temporal rift, and gradually realizes the Ghost Lord wasn't praising her clothes, but the color of her soul energy. Unfortunately, You Heng is only mortal and cannot see the color of souls. The only way to see them is to kiss a god: a kiss of love, a bond that lasts through life and death. Will You Heng choose Qu Yang, whose fate is deeply entwined with the immortals, or Yi Chen, who is like a fallen angel? And is the woman in her dreams, who looks exactly like her, real, or merely a figment of her imagination?
Theme: With two souls in one body, and different people by her side, how can she find a perfect ending?
