"A Dream of Flourishing Splendor in a Secluded Place" is a continent with a history spanning billions of years: Youzhou. It contains four distinct realms: the Divine Sea, home to the Four Deities and the Twenty-Eight Mansions; the Human Realm, with its ten-thousand-year-old powers and more than a thousand families and factions carrying on their legacies; the Underworld, where fallen people and demons dwell; and the Artifact Pavilion, where spirits inhabit weapons or have cultivated into spirit form over a thousand years. Six opposing races, and a boy born a demon who grows up in a human world that hates demons: how will he survive?
