Online swearing, insults, and picking fights are becoming increasingly common. To build a green and harmonious online environment, a company has launched a creative full-dive game where swearing sends you back to the start.
Wen Mingren's friend recommended the game, and she entered without a care.
How hard could it be not to swear? Surely she could manage that.
NPC: "You've got so much money. What's wrong with lending me a little?"
Wen Mingren: "You fucking..."
I'll lend you some ghost money, you asshole!
[System: Challenge failed! Build a green and harmonious online environment, starting with the little things!]
Wen Mingren: "..."
Infinite retries, activate.
After finally holding out long enough to beat the game, she gets Ending BE1: meekly accepting her lot. Wen Mingren feels like the game is messing with her, so she sadly tells her friend about her miserable experience.
But her friend says she just punched the NPC, which triggered a hidden ending: Ridding the People of a Menace. She cleared every stage with her righteous fists and soon beat the whole game, earning the achievement: Fighting Expert.
Wen Mingren: "...You can do that?"
To broaden her horizons, she opens the game's forum:
[Help! Looking for people who've gotten HE7! Has anyone managed to end up with Ji Yang!?]
[After getting seven bad endings in a row, I finally figured it out! A step-by-step guide to making Ji Yang suffer a social death!]
[Fun fact: Punching different people may unlock different special routes.]
[Am I the only naive one who thought everyone except Ji Yang was a good person??? #HowLiFangLedMeOnAndThenCompletelyWreckedMe#]
Wen Mingren: "Are we even playing the same game?!"
