Preface: I am furious about the live-action Mulan. Disney not only told this story with the arrogance toward Eastern culture typical of white Americans, but also completely ruined the plot. The costumes and sets are ugly, the lesbian romance comes out of nowhere, and worst of all, the reason Mulan joins the army in her father's place gets only a single scene transition. Black Panther could hire a Black director, so I don't understand why such a classic, such a great work couldn't hire Ang Lee, Tsui Hark, or Guo Pei. So Black lives matter, but yellow lives don't, huh? What makes me angriest is that, after a series of outrageous decisions by the production team, even "feminism" has become an empty slogan with nothing meaningful behind it. Someone said, "If you can do better, then do it." Okay, I'll do it. I'm not only going to write the story, I'm going to make videos too. I'm furious!
Premise: A classic retelling inspired by The Legend of Mulan, turning fairy tales upside down.
You're stuck in a place like this, and why do you ask me to believe that you like Mulan?
Damn it, can you give me an ending I can accept?
Big, where are you (/≧▽≦/)
